My suggestion is to go and opt NIT Rourkela because when compared to other one it's really good and also placements are very decent. It's the old college tok and the no of PhDs are good. Campus facilities are more than enough.

In 2015 the closing rank of mechanical branch at nit rourkela was 8919 at the end of first round of counselling
So it may upto 10k but it also depends upon other students performance and their choice.
