NIT Sikkim is one among the all NITs. So It is also a autonomous institute of Government of India. It was established in 2010.

No NIT Sikkim is not worst. It is best if compared with any other private college or many government college funded by state government.

Like any other NITs , it also offers undergraduate course, post graduate course and doctoral courses in multiple specialization.

The campus is also very beautiful, you will enjoy your college life. Yes you may find language difficulties if you are from hindi speaking state.

It has a separate placement cell where many reputed companies visits every year. Remember, NITs are far better than any other colleges generally.

Nit sikkim is not good for CSE branch as it is located on the extreme east and there are not many companies visiting for placements. I would recommend you to look fir other colleges as they may be better option to you.

If you are not looking just for nit tag then go for SVU Tirupati. Because if you compare both the colleges you will find that SVU Tirupati has much lower fees than nit Sikkim. Also nit Sikkim is an Eastern college and so cutoffs are low due to which it does not have that reputation than other nits. But it's up to you what you choose.

It totally depends on You if you find yourself satisfied with requirements of your college then just go for it. And as NIT Sikkim is good as well as you got CSE. So further round will surely increase chances of better colleges but it not recommended totally. I would say if you feel satisfied then stick into NIT Sikkim. And please keep consulting your parents/guardian and you mentors as Well. There guidance is more helpful then others.

If in the choice filling hierarchy, you have applied for NIT SIKKIM CSE before NIT PATNA ECE , then there are chances of getting it in consecutive rounds of seat allocation after you have applied for the float option, else not.

NIT sikkim is a premier technological institute. First of all , the tag NIT makes it feel good. But this NIT is not as good as comparedvto other NITs like NIT warangal , NIT rourkela etc. Its campus is situated in the temporary land of a village due to unavailibity of good land in state. And also , it becomes the majof reason for not installing all the machines here. The infrastructure is okay okay and the faculty is good .

You can go for this NIT if you are not getting a seat in any better NIT.
