National Institute of Technology Silchar
Hello Aspirants,
Hope you doing well, I would suggest you to go with NIT Silchar as going in NIT you would get many opportunities and a tag of NIT too and there the placement of Electronics are great they offer a decent package and in case of DTU they gives 75% placements on campus. But, for Biotechnology there are no core companies which visit the college. Only 2 or 3 companies visits like mankind pharma or Ranbaxy. So placements for biotechnology are not good in DTU

Following are some facts about both Institutes:
NIT Silchar :
IIIT Guwahati:
Both are good Institutes but if we go by above statistics, NIT Silchar has good Ranking than IIIT Guwahati. Also NIT Silchar is way older institute as it was established in 1960s while IIIT Guwahati was established in 2013. If we look at fees, NIT Silchar has lower fees. However, If you look at placement stats , IIIT Guwahati is way better than NIT Silchar. I suggest you to go for IIIT Guwahati.

Hello aspirant,
Yes...... the gap certificate is required at the time of admission. When you will be applying for the Counselling, don't be so worried about these secondary documents. You can give Undertaking for those documents in the institute. Generally a 15 days time period is given to students and that can also be extended further. These colleges are government institutions and work like them.....
Hope this helps

Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference order you should consider is:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet. More reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

Migration Certificate would be required to get admission into any Institutes. Since you lost your Migration certificate, I would advise you to apply for a duplicate migration certificate from your 12th Board. If you belong to CBSE, then you could easily download Migration Certificate from DigiLocker. As per IT Act, DigiLocker certificate are also valid for proof of documentation.
Thanks!!!!
