Your category rank is not that good, but since Nit silchar is not that well ranked, so you might have a chance of getting a seat in the college, it might take you to last round of counselling to get a better branch, hence you have a chance

At Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur the fees of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course is lower than that of NIT Silchar. But the cutoff of CSE is higher for NIT Silchar, so, NIT Silchar is clearly a better college to pursue
