You can get that seat in the further rounds if your rank comes under the cutoff. But if you have not added NIT Durgapur at the beginning of the first round, then there is no way to get that college because you can't change your choices mid counseling. If NIT

I got St rank 3284 and crl rank of 214010 and didnt get in 1st round in nit silchar.... Should I wait for other rounds??

HI Jagannath,

Yes you should not lose hope. Wait for second round and third round too. Many seats are vacated as some students do not take admission in search of better colleges or branches. So, just wait and be patient.

As per your rank in JEE Mains 2019 and unless you don't belong to Assam, I am sorry to say that you will not be able to get a seat in any branch of NIT, Silchar. The home state quota could have made the difference but with

Course Structure: Course structure is good (needs some upgradation). There are more courses on Power Engineering (e.g. Power Systems, Machines, Drives etc.). So if you are a electronics, VLSI design,embedded systems, hardware programming freak, then it’ll be better if you join ECE. Still, you can have 6 electives

Yes they will be open every day of the week during those given days . You can go on weekends too. Try to go as fast as possible during the early hpurs of the day to avoid long queues and unnecessary delays . Also take all the documents you can

The National Institute of Technology Silchar offers B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications at Rs 1,30,000 per annum. NO you dont have to visit both the times once you visit you just have to tell them to float till you dont get your desired college and branch as per your choices and later if you dont go for reporting then automatically after 4th round the

 If you have an interest in computer applications and software, you should take Computer Science and Engineering.

Don't worry about coding, it's a very interesting subject and ab=ny programing language can be learnt in 2 months easily. It just demands practice.
