NITs are best if want placement .You will get ample opportunities within campus.Though there are option of off campus but if you are looking for campus placement then NITs is something you should opt.

For your 94.31 percentile in jee mains paper2 you will have general rank around 8300. All the barch seats in NITs closes before 2000 in crl. Even you belong to OBC it won't benefit much. So you will not be able to secure a seat in NIT trichy.

NIT TRICHY(CSE) is a good institution . You should not go for drop a year for IIT MADRAS.
Yes IIT MADRAS is a better institution than NIT TRICHY but NIT Trichy is not a less institution .
Both these institutions come under top NIRF Rankings of a country.
