I would like to tell you that you would need to clear JEE MAINS with a very good score to be able to join NIT, Trichy.

In terms of 12th board exams marks , it is used as an basic eligibility that you will have to pass XII with a good score for NIT's and 75% for IIT's.

To be honest it will be difficult to get NIT trichy in 76 percentile no matter the PWD reservation. But still you can try the next phase exam and try to improve your percentile.

Now coming to IISC, yes you can Get adm. in IISC without JEE advance. But for that you have to clear kvpy exam.

Hello Kavitha. Welcome to Careers360. I would like to tell you that there will be another exam of JEE MAINS in the month of April. The final results will be then uploaded on NTA’s website. It is bery difficult to predict the cutoffs before the final results comes out. For your redere, I can share the link of previous years NITs cutoffs so that you can get an estimate from it. I am studing in NIT Trichy. So, I can tell you exactly how much marks required.

NIT Trichy is really good college in terms of placement and also if you are interested to go for higher study. 

If you are an SC student you only need under 2000 SC rank to get into NIT Trichy. 2000 SC rank means you need 100-125 marks. 

My friend got into NIT Trichy through JEE Mains score 125. 

With 2000 SC rank you can get metallurgy and materials Engineering ,Production Engineering , Instrumentation and Control Engineering .

If you get SC rank 1200 you can get Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. (around 150 marks)

If you get SC rank below 1000 you may get into Electronics and Communication  Engineering. (around 170 marks)

If you get SC rank below 800 you may get into Computer Science Engineering.(around 180-190 marks).

    Considering your NTA percentile your probable General rank is 35,875. It is probable rank and may change after the Mains exam which will be conducted in April. With this rank it is difficult to get admission in NIT trichi as previous year closing rank is under 11,000 for home state students. The best option you now have to prepare well for the next exam and try to increase your percentile. you can get this branch in some other NITs.
