Hello
You can go through the link and use the college predictor tool and check your expected chances in NITs and other Engineering colleges-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
You may calculate your expected rank by this formula- 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for the January exam. So rank formula is (100- your total score) * 874469 / 100.If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1400000 then your final rank shall be (100- your total score) * 1400000/100 It's difficult to tell you the exact qualifying marks for JEE Advanced Eligibility but if you are getting more than 85 percentile score then you have decent chances to qualify for JEE Advanced. Good Luck!

Hello Jay,
It is best to wait till April for the final results.
It is quite difficult for us to predict the probable college as first-time JEE is being conducted twice in a year and rank will be based on NTA percentile score but you may calculate your expected rank by given below Formula or use the link -
JEE Main 2019 rank (probable) = (100- NTA percentile score ) X 874469 /100

Hey Someswara Rao Medicharla,
If you wonna puruse CSE in the above mentioned institutes then probably first you need to choose IIIT CSE, As it gives an IIT tag. Ofcourse NIT trichy is also best. Don’t go to new IIT’s right now! New IIT’s are almost equal to an average college at beginning
Hello Dhilip kumar..
According to careers360 rank formula,
Rank formula= [(100-total score) * (no of students wrote exam)] /100
No of students attended are 874469.
So your expected rank will be nearly around 5,09,641.
As per previous year jee mains, any rank below 2,00,000 will be qualified for jee advanced.
So according to expected rank of yours, so you may or may not be eligible for jee advanced as we can't predict the category rank for now, need to wait till april exam result.
So don't worry prepare well and write april jee mains well. best of the two exams will be considered.
Hope this helps you. All the best
