If you are getting 202 in jee mains then it is really well and good. You will get your rank around 5500-6200( Considering General category). As you have mentioned NITW/T for ece so letme clear you, there is little or i can say less than 60% chances of getting ECE because i think you are sort of 10-15 marks.

Yes it is allowed, But there are certain clause for it like you have to be in top 3-4 students in you branch which means you have to get more than 9-9.3 assuming strength should not fall below 10% after your switching. But the main factor is that you have to be in top 3.

Branch change in NIT There are several rules that some specific percentage of top students are only allowed to change branch but is in your case you will be in Computer Science and Engineering so no one is going to change branch to other branches there for you will be the highest scorer to change the branch and generally no one go for chemical engineering from other branches also there for if you even Golu CPI so then you will be able to change the branch to chemical engineering.but first of all if you are able to get Computer Science and Engineering and you are interested in chemical engineering then you can take chemical engineering very easily because there is less competition in chemical engineering unit lowering rank you will get chemical engineering
