You have a very decent score. 99 percentile is a great score and you have a high chance of getting into top NITs.
Although the cutoff for NITs is yet not released but as per the previous trends i can say yes you can get Computer science branch of Btech in NIT trichy with this score.
But yes the result will vary once the final result is compiled so hope for the best.

No it is impossible to get NIT college at 82 percentile NTA score because it is very low score it means that only 82% students are behind you so suppose there are 10 lakh  students appeared for the exams send your rank would be around 180000 so it is impossible to get in NIT college at 180000 rank your rank must be within top 20000 to get a good and it so I think you need to score more than 98 percentile should try better the next attempt.

It is difficult to predict your exact qualifying marks or admission possibilities to get into top NITs as the exam is being conducted twice in multiple session first time and the final NTA scores will be used to rank the candidates. 

You can use this formula to calculate your expected rank-

874469 are the number of candidates appeared for the January exam. So rank formula is (100- your total score) * 874469 / 100.

If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1400000 then your final rank shall be (100- your total score) * 1400000/100

Considering the total number of students to be 10 lakhs and using the below formula.

 Rank= (total number of students -(percentile*0.01*number of students))

Your rank comes out to be 46600. Considering the previous cut offs , in general category i don't think you can get a seat in nit trichy.

This percentile is equivalent to a rank of 8k. This is sufficient to get a seat in Nit trichy. As trichy is in your home state u may also get the core branches and decent branches like Cse,mech,ece. All the best.

The placement rate of both the colleges is almost the same. However, the campus is better in DTU. 

Both colleges are good with everything. If you live near Delhi or in Delhi then you should go for DTU only . If you're thinking the college life as well, then you should go for DTU only.
