It is as hard as you think and work accordingly.The day you will stop thinking it is hard and start doing the preparation in right manner you will find nothing is hard.Time left is not too much so you must be serious.If you loose to get good college you may have to go in some private college where you'll not get good placements.

The cutoff depends on the category wise, Home state Quota/ Other state Quota. As per the last year cutoff NIT Trichy CSE cutoff was 324 Opening Rank & 2120 Closing rank as Other State Quota. You can check the cutoff for other branches with the given below link.

NIT Trichy college timings are from 8:30 AM to 3:10 PM and lunch from 12:10 PM to 1:30 PM

Hi, so basically almost all the NIT's are the best for Computer Science engineering. You can choose any of the colleges and you won't find any problem in any of them.

NIT's as in National Institute of technology is oneof the most prestigious college for technology and have great placements every year.
