If you wish to take the admission in NITs for MCA programme then you need to appear NIMCET Entrance Exam, To apply for the Exam you should be passed B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects. To get cse branch in NIT Trichy, you should atleast score above 250 or around 270.Getting above 200 enables you to get cse in one of the top 5 nits.To get 250 to 270 you should not only be thorough with ncert but also should have practised mock papers, previous papers and some problems in reference books.
