National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
Hi Subhojeet,
Both the institutes (Institute for Financial Management & Research and NIT Trichy) are well-established. As per Careers360 ratings, IFMR has AAAA ratings which means “Very Good” and NIT Trichy has AAA ratings which means “Good”. To help you further, I would suggest you use the “College Compare Tool” of Careers360. It’ll allow you to compare the colleges on the basis of ranks, placements, seats, infrastructure, fees etc.
Hope that helps.

NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs so you will have to secure a good rank in Jee Mains. Considering general category, 250+ score is enough to admit in NIT Trichy. For OBC students, There is slightly less score to need like 230+ and 180–190+ score need for SC, ST students. It may be vary depending on question paper and cutoff rank. And of course, you will get some advantage for being home state quota.
