National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, Both are almost same. IIT Guwahati is older one and it is one of top 7 IITs. NIT Trichy is no.1 NIT. If you are getting Both then can surely go with IIT Guwahati as the kind of projects and learning opportunities you might get at IIT is unparalleled with any other institute (even for elite NIT Trichy). For NIT Trichy it is close to Chennai, the powerhouse of startups and innovation. Many Companies have there branches there. You will be getting many opportunities for interns outside your college at NIT Trichy but for IIT Guwahati there are not much companies so opportunities are also less.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck

Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing SC rank for NIT Tiruchirappalli was :-
So you have quite low chances to get NIT Tiruchirappalli with Computer Science and Engineering branch.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

Hi.
According to you, MNIT in choice 3 and NIT Trichy CSE in 4. During allotment process if you have been allotted MNIT first, as it is your choice above NIT Trichy, then you will have option to Freeze, Float or Slide. If you Freeze, then you accept the seat and institute and will not take part in any counselling, If you Float then you will accept the seat BUT you will take part in further rounds and will choose to get a seat upgrade if possible. Slide means that you accept seat, will take part in counselling but will get a new seat ONLY IF it is within the same institute. That said, if you have been allotted your Choice 3, your Choice 4 will not be considered.
The 75% marks in XII board exams criteria will likely be removed for the JEE Main 2022 as well. So even if you score 70% marks in Boards examination you will be eligible to appear for the JEE Mains 2022 Examination.
If you are talking about scoring 95% in JEE Mains then it would correspond to 342 marks out of 360. After scoring this much score it is advisable that you shouldn't settle for NIT and instead try for IIT entrance examination JEE Advanced.
And if you are asking for 95 percentile in JEE Mains examination (percentage and percentile are two different things)then, I would like to tell you that cut offs for colleges change every year depending upon number of factors such as following-
• N umber of applicants in JEE examination
• JEE question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in JEE
• NIT seat matrix 2022
So you should work hard and score maximum marks and get a seat in your dream college.
Thank you.

Hi aspirant, it is good that you have choices of the such good colleges so if you want you can go in any if them but the thing is NIT is afterall NIT and also NIT, Trichy is one of the top most NIT in the country so it would be better if you go with the NIT, Trichy in place of CMRCET , But this decision should be based on your interest as well.
Thank You.
