National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
hello aspirant,
Each year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level etc.but based on previous year analysis we can predict the cutoff.what do you mean by are you eligible for obc category?if you belong to any obc category from ap then yes you are from obc category and you need to have a certificate for it.NIT trichy is one of the top NITS in India so you need a really good percentile to fetch seat there especially for cse as cse has more cutoff.for fetching a seat there you need the last year cutoff by rank for OBC category is 387 and 1060 . which means you need to have percentile around 99.6+.for more info check: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-trichy
also note that each year cutoff changes so are your chances into colleges.
hope this helps,
thankyou.
Hello aspirant
Whether you will get a seat in nit trichy depends upon cutoff 2021 . Cut off varies every year and also it depends upon number of factors like number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam, availability of seats and previous year's cut off.
However cut off Jee main for SC Category is low as compared to general category. For getting Admission to nit trichy you will have to qualify Jee main along with scoring 75% in xii board. With 80 percentile you will certainly get nit. This can be predicted depending upon previous year's cut off ie cut off 2020. Qualifying Cut off Jee main for scheduled caste (2020) was 50 . 25 percentile.
