National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
Hello yashsrivastava123.ys , From some research on internet I found that NIT Trichy is one of the best NIT among all NITs and for chemical engineering also it is good in terms of placement, infrastructure and all. Only the problem is the fees which is higher at NIT Trichy.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Hello yashsrivastava123.ys , From some research about all the three colleges on internet I found that all the three are good and for taking them the order is:
This above order is based on placement, infrastructure and all, only in terms of fees its reverse.
Hi, the placement and rating criteria as per top nit is as warangal>trichy>Surathkal dont know about allahbad. Coming to mnit Allahabad, 124 students of mechanical got placed and average package is of 7.18 lakhs. So placement rate is 96% there. Go for the branch which you want to pursue. Below is the chemical placement of nits for chemical engineering-
nit Warangal- Highest salary-25 LPA, average package-8.2 lpa, lowest salary- 3.25 lakhs, placement ratio- 89%
NIT SURATHKAL- the minimum salary offered was Rs 3.3 lakhs per annum. The average salary was Rs 5.48 lakhs per annum and the maximum salary was Rs 7.3 lakhs per annum.
nit Trichy- NITT has a system in which you’d have to clear to be eligible to apply for placements. The Chemical Engineering department has a very low class strength, of about 70 people and only around 60–70% of them even apply for placements. So far, the department has managed to have over 95% placement rate, with all the applied students being placed in one company or the other in the academic year 2019. Keep in mind that this list has a mix of reputed companies as well as those on the other end of the spectrum too.
All the best.
Hello Rachana
In Nit Tiruchirapalli no seats were left in 2019 and 2018 all seats were taken by the deserving candidates in 2017 they were vacant seats so they conducted just one round because only 2 vacant seats were left. You can check for yourself in this link and search for more options too

Hope this helps you
Hi . Since both the NITs are really good you should choose the NIT which is closer to your home i.e. MNNIT, Allahabad. NIT, Trichy even though being the best is really far away from UP. And talking about the placements, the average package for both the nits are approximately same with not much significant difference . And all the good IT companies visit both the colleges so you shouldn't worry much about it. You can check the placement stats for both the NITs below:
1) MNNIT - https://www.careers360.com/university/motilal-nehru-national-institute-of-technology-allahabad-prayagraj/placement
2) NIT Trichy-

If distance is not a worrying factor for you then definitely go for NIT,TRICHY. Hope this answer helped.
Hi aspirant..!!
According to your question I want to go one by one. Let's talk about civil engineering it's has a high scope in government jobs as everyone knows but on the other hand chemical engineering is also the growing field and offcourse with this field you are not able to apply for civil exams ( in case you want to prepare). If you ask me about Trichy or allahbad I would suggest Trichy . Trichy is slightly better in terms of overall faculty and quality of education and students. Infrastructure is also better here in certain extent and it's more research oriented.
So yes choose stream according to your interest or if you want a good college go for college rather than thinking about stream.
Hope this help
Have a nice days
Thankyou
