National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
Assuming you are from General Category having Tamil Nadu Home State Advantage, you must target securing a Rank of atleast AIR 35000, to confirm your seat in either of Metallurgical, Civil or Production Engineering at NIT Trichy. As far as the Rank is concerned, I believe securing around 97 percentile or 130-140/300, will ensure you keep hold at this Rank.

Each year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level etc.but based on previous year analysis we can predict the cutoff.what do you mean by are you eligible for obc category?if you belong to any obc category from ap then yes you are from obc category and you need to have a certificate for it.NIT trichy is one of the top NITS in India so you need a really good percentile to fetch seat there especially for cse as cse has more cutoff.for fetching a seat there you need the last year cutoff by rank for OBC category is 387 and 1060 . which means you need to have percentile around 99.6+.for more info check: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-trichy
