Yash Dev Student Expert 4th May, 2020
Hello student you need to secure rank under 1000 in Jee main paper 2 for admission into NIT trichy as NIT trichy is everyone first choice and seats are limited. Predicting exact cut off is bit difficult as it vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination.

Hello Aspirant,

As we know that NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs of India. It takes only top students. According to your percentile your rank would bring around 2 Lakhs. On the basis of this rank it is impossible to get seat in NIT Trichy.

You have to score above 99.2 percentile to secure your seat in NIT Trichy.

i have got 84 percentile in jee mains jan 2020 can i get admission in NIT trichy

Yash Dev Student Expert 26th Apr, 2020
Hello student NIT trichy is one of the top NIT I'm sorry to inform you but with 84 percentile it's difficult to get admission in NIT trichy as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank. I request you to please help me with your category so that I can provide more exact information as category plays a important role in getting admission.

You can easily calculate and get your rank by using this formula (100-your total percentile) 869010 /100
In your case your rank must be around 139041.

I got 98.44 in b. Arch 2020 do i get a seat in Nit trichy

Rishu Gupta 22nd Apr, 2020

You got 98.44 percentile in JEE main exam, your rank would be approximately in between 1500 to 2000. Also, you can check your expected rank using the formula:

Rank = (100-percentile)*(No. of students appeared for the examination)/100

As the no. of students appeared for Paper 2 are 112680, your rank will be around 1750. On the basis of your percentile, the you will get these college:

MNIT Jaipur

MANIT Bhopal

NIT Hamirpur

NIT Calicut

NIT Rourkela

For NIT Trichi last year cutoff is 778-1278. So, there might be less chance of getting this college. If you belong to Tamil Nadu, so with state rank and quota you will get this college.
