Admission to NITs consider the JEE Mains score. But it is not like an individual with a particular percentage will get a particular NIT. After JEE Mains score is published, you have to wait till call for JoSAA counselling comes. Once registration starts you have to register and fill

I see that you want to go for nit Trichy and you want to pursue architecture engineering . It is a good thought. But nit Trichy requires very good marks. Say you have to get around 100 percentile if you want to go for nit Trichy.

I see that you scored around 91.59 percentile in JEE mains paper 2 . You are obc-ncl category and you want to go for architecture in nit Trichy. But let me remind you that your percentile is very less. So your rank will be way too much than required rank

I see that you have got 97 percentile then if I calculate your rank will be around somewhere 3500 which is too much although you are home state and female candidate. Your rank is way too much than the required rank in nit Trichy.

So I suggest you to go

See as you are from sc category and you got 77 percentile. But you should be saying your rank. At the time of writing this question , JEE mains results were out earlier. So you are having the rank with you.

I am very sorry but it's very tough for you to get admission in NIT Trichy because it requires really high rank. You can try for other colleges. However, fill the coices as you want it to be because the counseling process can be really unpredictable at times.

See production engineering will always be considered less than mechanical. What all say is that production is mechanical-thermo.

And studying production in NIT TRICHY. In first thought we will think that it is nit trichy obviously it will be good. But it is not good especially if you want placement
