With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores. You could get good colleges and your desired branch. no this percentile is not enough to get into trichy. with this percentile you will get some 5000 to 6000 rank which is not enough. you can easily get other NITs like silchar, andhra pradesh, durgapur in round 4 or 5. you can get better nits also in the 2 special rounds. but not trichy.
