As you have mentioned you have a home state  quota for Trichy. So,  with a home state quota and obc rank 793 you can easily get admissions to computer science engineering in NIT Trichy. 

Also,  if you are interested in other branches, for your rank all other branches are open to you.

NIT Trichy with be the best when compared to Central University of Karnataka. The studies, faculty, college life etc are good in NIT Trichy. 

NIT Trichy is the only NIT which gives competition to BITS Pilani - Hyderabad Campus.

You need less than 8k rank to get NIT tirchy .The cut off of the streams is too high as you must be knowing NIT Tirchy is one of the top NITs .

You can try for other NITs like:

NIT Raipur : Mechanical,Metallurgy,Mining,Chemical ,biotechnology,biomedical 

NIT Rourkela: Ceramic Engineering,Mining Engineering,Industrial design,Biomedical engineering,

Nit jamshedpur:Civil Engineering,Metallurgy and material engineering,Production and industrial engineering

82.9%ile in jee paper 2 is too low to get you seats.IT would be better if you look college on the basis of JEE paper 1.

Hello Jerome, as you have stated neither your home state not your category, I would suggest you go through this JOSAA 2018 last round closing ranks for different IITs, NITs, and other government engineering colleges accepting JEE score: https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=139&iii=Y . Although I have checked each and every NIT cutoff from NIT Warangal to NIT Agartala, I don't think you will get admission in B.Arch in any of the NITs because the closing ranks were a lower than your JEE rank.

Both the branches are equally good but as per my opinion B.Arch is now growing and need of highly good architect is needed nowadays. So if your jee paper 2 was quite good for nit trichy go for it. 

If you get chemical engineering in NIT trichy that's also good you'll get it by scoring in jee paper 1 it also have good scope now.
