National Institute of Technology Warangal
Hi Pappula, hope you are doing well. According to your question I want to mention that it is impossible for you to get a seat in ECE branch in NIT Warangal (considering you are from general category), even if you belong to the home state. Last year the closing rank for ECE Branch for general category and home state quota was 1958 and other state quota was 2090. Now scenario might change if you have some reservation. Hope this helps
Thanking you
Yours sincerely

Hello,
I always recommend u to join eee at nit warangal .. ECE MNNIT may not be preferable due to÷
Lack of quality faculty in ece . It has the worst faculties among any branch
Most of the laboratories are obsolete and in dilapidated condition. Half of the instruments don't function
If u seek a core ece job , mnnit may not be the best place for u.. Most ECE grads end up taking an it job (due to better pay and paucity of core jobs)
Since very few core companies visit the campus , u have to be super intelligent to make the most of the handful oopportunities available..
Hello Aspirants,
Hope you doing well, I think if it's totally depends on you like what actually you want in which field you have more intrest but acc to me if you are good to go with cse then you should prefer cse in nit Nagpur see ece and it is also a good branch but the scene is if there is 100 company visiting in your college so all the 100 company will allow the cse branch student to appear but in case of ece and it there are some company which do not allow like you can say there are 20% companies which are not allowing other branches. And nit nagpur is comes under top nits and according to last year the average package of cse branch was 11.8 lakh and nit nagpur have a great coding culture and there alumi base is also strong one of them is a president of jaguar company so yeah you will get so many opportunities

Hi
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>> With 30484 sc rank
You have low chance in NIT warangal
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,
--------) Under Home state , NIT warangal cut off/closing rank was 5425 sc rank and it was for biotechnology
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
You have chances in government colleges like
------) Dr APJ Abdul Kalam UIT Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Jhabua :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/dr-apj-abdul-kalam-uit-rajiv-gandhi-proudyogiki-vishwavidyalaya-jhabua/cut-off
-------) Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/indira-gandhi-engineering-college-sagar/cut-off
-------) Vikram University, Ujjain :- https://www.careers360.com/university/vikram-university-ujjain/cut-off
This prediction is on the past year data basis but cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so

Hello
According to ranking's NIT Warangal is good than Vnit Nagpur. But it's your choice the field in which you are interested not the college because both are NIT's and ranking doesn't matter in learning.
You are interested in programming then you can go for Vnit Nagpur and if you are interested in Electronics and Communication then you can go for Nit Warangal.
I hope you find this helpful
At a Rank where you get Physics at IIT Bombay, you also get Electrical at IIT Kanpur or maybe ECE at IIT Kharagpur, MnC at IIT Guwahati as well as CSE Dual at IIT BHU, Mechanical at IIT Delhi. I genuinely believe these options are much better with respect to Faculty, Curriculum, Infrastructure and Placements than going after NIT Warangal CSE. But Unless youre genuinely interested in Research or Physics, dont go after Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay. Most Engineering Physics Students, either go after Research Careers with a MS/PhD in US or maybe Prepare for Software, Finance Roles in Placements. Engineering Physics has comparatively lesser Placement Prospects in India as well. Instead if youre obsessed about IIT Bombay, you may take Chemical or Mechanical Dual for better Placement Prospects. Secondly Engineering Physics after Electrical is undoubtedly is the Toughest Branch across Curriculums in IITs, hence it is not at all student friendly and doesnt have a relaxed and structured Curriculum.
Dear Student ,
If you are a female student .. then you can get metallurgical and materials engineering in NIT warangal in OS category with your given rank as per previous year cut off .
But,you need to remember that every year's cutoff of JEE MAIN depends on some following factors :
