National Institute of Technology Warangal
Hello,
The 75% marks in XII board exams criteria will likely be removed for the JEE Main 2022 as well. So even if you score 70% marks in Boards examination you will be eligible to appear for the JEE Mains 2022 Examination.
If you are talking about scoring 95% in JEE Mains then it would correspond to 342 marks out of 360. After scoring this much score it is advisable that you shouldn't settle for NIT and instead try for IIT entrance examination JEE Advanced.
And if you are asking for 95 percentile in JEE Mains examination (percentage and percentile are two different things)then, I would like to tell you that cut offs for colleges change every year depending upon number of factors such as following-
• N umber of applicants in JEE examination
• JEE question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in JEE
• NIT seat matrix 2022
So you should work hard and score maximum marks and get a seat in your dream college.
Thank you.
Hello, For CSE both the NITs are the best, but if you are comparing according to the placement factor, then I will say NIT Warangal is better then Trichy. Both the NITs are among the top three NITs of India.
Hope this will help you.
Thank you!
Hi.
You did not mention your rank, category and home state. Therefore, we cannot answer this question based on little information.
However, if estimated, with 92 percentile your rank in Common Rank List will be around 87219-78111 and you will not be able to get into NIT Warangal with such high rank.
It is advised that you post a new question with relevant details and possibly the name of colleges you wish to take admission in or the preferred state. You can use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.
Good Luck
Incase you have no particular interests in pursuing a particular stream like CSE, I believe NIT Warangal should undoubtedly be your first preference, being one of the Best NITs in India alongwith NIT Trichy. Even if you get Electrical or Mechanical at NIT Trichy, they too are excellent options. Of course incase youre dead interested in CSE, you may choose one of the many Good NITs, probably choose the one at your Vicinity. You shouldnt have any doubt regarding Placements across Top 10 NITs, they all are good and Comparable. However there are many Top Companies which only visit IITs and few NITs including Trichy, Surathkal and Warangal, being the Best.

Hi
Your profile suggests that your home state is Telangana
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>> With 12813 obc rank
You have low chance in NIT warangal for ECE even under home state
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,
--------) Under Telangana Home state , NIT warangal cut off/closing rank for obc category was 1294 obc rank for ECE
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
You have chances in NITs & IIITs like
-----------) National Institute of Technology, Nagpur:-Mining Engineering:-13243 OBC rank
-----------) NIT Mizoram ,civil engineering :-14730 obc rank
-----------) National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, biotechnology engineering :-14504 obc rank
-----------) Nit nagaland ,Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :- 15340 obc rank
-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur:- computer science:- 15500 obc rank
-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur:- computer science :-15168 obc rank
This prediction is on the past year data basis but cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so

Hello aspirant,
Both the mentioned institutions were very good but the main thing is that you have to choose according to your interest Electronics and Communication Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
But NIT Warangal is also regarded as one of the top NIT's in India.
I am describing the recent placements records of the mentioned institutions for the following brances;
ECE --> SVNIT => About 85-90% of the students from our course get placements. You can expect a average salary package offered is 6-8 LPA. All major companies such as Wipro, Infosys, HTC, L&T, etc., recruit students from here.
