National Law University, Cuttack
With the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere between 30-350 and it's a great rank and you've sure shot chances of getting into the top NLUs though the chances of getting NLSIU Bangalore may be less considering the number of seats but you can get any of the other NLUs if you fall in general category. But if you fall in any other category then you're good to go. You'll get any of them.
All the very best
With the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere between 5000- 7000 in SC category and it's a pretty decent rank and you definitely stand a chance in NLUs. It may be a little difficult to get into the top 5 NLUs but you have a sure shot chance of getting colleges like
NUSRL, Ranchi
NLU JA, Guwahati
TNNLS, Trichy
NLU, Shimla
All the best
Hello Aspirant
I do not think so that preference list can be changed.
I think, the website CATEGORICALLY mentions that you need to be careful in filling up your choices as after they are locked, they CANNOT be changed.
From the official website:
QUESTION 26. Can the candidate change his/her choices of National Law Universities subsequently?ANSWER- NO, Choice once indicated and submitted shall be treated as final. However, in case of submitting multiple application forms, the last submitted form will be treated as final.
Best of luck!
As per the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere between 11000-13000. So if you fall in SC category then you definitely have chances to get into NLUs Shimla and Jabalpur. They require a rank of below 12000 (approx.) for SC category. So if you have a rank between the above mentioned range then you have a chance. Have your hopes high since you've a decent score. All the best.
Hello Arpit,
According to the Rank Predictor Tool, your rank should come in between 965 to 1,665 in the general category.
According to previous year cutoff trends, here are some of the NLUs you can consider -
If your score comes out to be as expected, or better, then you have a fair chance of getting into the above-mentioned institutes as cutoffs over the years don't vary much.
All the Best!

Dear Leeva Sarna,
For getting into National Law University, New Delhi, you have to appear for a separate entrance test known as AILET. They don't accept CLAT as eligibility exam.
For National Law University, Cuttack, according to previous year trends, the cutoff was 110.5. This year it may vary by + or -5. So you have a very high chance of getting into this college.
