If you are scoring more than 60 you are safe .If you see individually per paper MAT,English,Hindi and SAT ,you will have to score 40%-50% marks in each of them.Tentitive result declaration dates lies in January-march.So you need to wait just a few days.

Yes you are in safe  side.Yeah that true the cut off lies between 130-160 for all categories.Though it is enough but nobody can exactly say what will be this year's cut off.You have done well if you are scoring 162.Chances are you will qualify.Best of luck .

Last year, the cut off of NTSE Haryana was 127 for General category, 106 for ST and 71 for physically handicapped. NTSE Haryana cut off for the year 2019 will be declared in January/February, 2019.

This year the NTSE cut off is expected to show much change due to change in exam pattern thus it'll be difficult to guess if 140 marks will make you eligible for the second stage of NTSE 2019.

As a General category students you should have 40% of 200 marks. You will have to score 40 marks in each- MAT and SAT and overall 80 to qualify. Your score is good enough to qualify, But the selection for the second round depends on Telangana cutoff.
