With 140 marks it seems a bit difficult to crack NTSE for the second stage. However, nothing much can be said about it since the exam pattern has been changed this year and thus the cut off will also show changes. Stay updated for the release of NTSE Tamil
Cutoff is solely dependent on total students performance nd total students appearing as well as exam difficulty level so its difficult to predict it.
Cutoff is generally regarded as base minimum marks which will sufficiently fill all seats and allow meritorious students to participate.

A general/OBC candidate requires 40% marks and SC/ST candidate requires 32% marks in both -MAT and SAT papers to qualify. 144 seems to be a decent score to qualify the stage 1 of NTSE 2019.
