Dear Roshan, you haven't mentioned the course that you want to pursue at NUSRL, Ranchi. They have Undegraduation, Post graduation and Ph.D. programmes. For Undergraduate course, the admission is purely based on CLAT. CLAT will be conducted on May 12th, 2019. The online applications will be available from 10th January to 31st March 2019. For being eligible for CLAT, if you are from General Category, you should have at least scored 45% in your 10+2. It is 40% if you belong to SC/ST. You can also take a mock test conducted by CLAT for an understanding of the exam. It will happen tentatively during the 3rd week of April. For admission into B.A, LLB, you should have passed your 10+2 with at least a minimum aggregate of 45%. The intake for this programme is 120 seats. For admission into LLM, LLB or 5year Integrated B.A LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% is acceptable. The intake for this programme is 20 seats. For reporting you have to visit ranchi at 28 june other wise you can report at last round as most of the counselling rule.

Have you gone through Revised CLAT 2018 Calendar it says after the closure of the CLAT Office, vacancy if any, in any NLU will be filled by the respective NLUs at their own level from the CLAT list in the order of merit as per the Rules and Regulations of the participating Universities. First of all it's not necessary that there will be a vacant seat in every NLU. NUSRL is no exception to that. If that happens, in that scenario there will be no closing rank for vacant seats which can be expected for NUSRL Ranchi. In fact no body can guess that. I hope it helps!
