I am Akash, I am in 11th maharashtra state board student. I want to do neet.but neet is from ncert & my board is not from cbsc, then how can I prepare for neet.? please guide about its timetable.

mjaisinghani62 15th Apr, 2020

Akash , you can well prepare NEET even if you are not from CBSE board. You can study xii board with your own books and for NEET preparation you will have to purchase ncert books. It seems difficult but it is not so. In ncert books topic wise description will be there and after that McQ s are there.so don't worry about that .

Hi

It's good to study reference books likes Trueman's etc for conceptual clarity of some topics which are difficult to understand from NCERT but when it comes to preparation for NEET examination then your main focus should be on NCERT.

This is because, almost 95% of the questions in NEET examination is directly from NCERT in case biology, so you should only focus on NCERT biology and practising mcqs now that only around 2 months are left for you neet examination . For practicing MCQs you can refer to past year question papers.

If you prepare your NCERT Biology well then you can easily score between 300 to 340 marks out of 360 marks in biology in NEET examination

You can prepare well using our neet knockout for which link is provided below

HOW MANY MARKS CAN I SECURED IN NEET BIOLOGY IF I STUDIED NCERT BIOLOGY AND ALLEN MODULE?

Maria Sunny 14th Apr, 2020

Hello,

NEET consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.Out of the 90 questions in Biology  45 questions will be  from Botany and 45 questions from Zoology. You can score about 300 plus marks if you study NCERT Biology text alone.A large number of questions will be NCERT based. But still it would be better if you go through some reference books as well.

Check out the link below to know more about the recommended textbooks :

i have scored 52 percentage in class 12th ncert english medium and 36 percentage for PCM and i want to make my future in computer engineering so what should I do next plz guide me???

rehan18alam Student Expert 22nd May, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You can not become compute engineer on the basis of your marks now as you will not be eligible for any college with btech or any exam for admissions in the computer engineering courses.

If you are really passionate about computer science then you can start learning on your own and then directly apply for the jobs in the year or two. You can find tons of online materials on various platforms like Youtube, Google, etc.

Many computer programmers today do not have professional education but they are self-taught programmers. You can be too.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Dear aspirant,
NCERT is not bad for preparation but if you want to score good marks in exam you must be study from any other sources. Because from NCERT you can learn only basic ideas of any topic.

Is rd sharma of class 11th and ncert of class12th is enough for upsee entrance exam ??

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 11th Apr, 2020
Hello,

Absolutely not.UPSEE is a quite unpredictable exams and is very trick questions appear in the exams so you cannot afford to just rely on NCERT.
If you are giving this years attempt then ofcourse less time so u would suggest first compete entire class 11 and 12 NCERT syllabus and then move to RD Sharma and RS Aggarwal because this is the minium that you have to do.If you can manage time then TMH should also be done.
And most importantly solve past year question papers.

Good Luck

WHICH IS BETTER - NEET MOST WANTED BIOLOGY OR NCERT GEAR UP BIOLOGY?

Anurag Khanna 11th Apr, 2020

Hello Alok,

According to me you should go for NCERT Gear up Biology Aim4Aiims because contains very relevant questions required in NEET based in NCERT pattern whereas NEET Most Wanted Biology has some questions which are of higher level which may loose your confidence.

At the time of your preparation you should always keep your confidence level high.

I hope this answer helps you in clearing your doubt. For further queries you can comment in comment section.

Good Luck!!

is NCERT biology syllabus change or update in 2019

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Apr, 2020
Hari, at this point in time, there is no notification over any change in regards to syllabus change. This is the boards time and so no changes will be made. Any changes will happen before the commencement of the academic season and not during the end of an academic season.
