debolinadawn 14th Sep, 2020

Dear aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query compared to NEET 2019 the difficulty level of NEET 2020 was moderate as per the students survey. The physics paper of NEET 2020 was a bit difficult compared to that of Biology and Chemistry though 30-40% questions were directly based of NCERT books also there were no controversial questions in the paper. I secured 242 marks in NEET 2019. I belongs to OBC category, Will I get MBBS seat

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Sep, 2020
Hi

Can you please help us with your domicile state?

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get a college or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like your domicile state , number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc

But as per previous year friends with 242 marks you cannot get a seat in a Government Medical College even if you belong to OBC category, not even under state quota
You can try for private medical colleges

To know your chances of getting a seat, you can go through our college predictor

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

With the help of our college predictor you can know your chances of getting colleges on the basis of your marks for state counselling, all India counselling, for both government and private colleges etc.

HOW MUCH MINIMUM MARKS (AIR) WAS REQUIRED TO GET BAMS GOVT CLG VIA 15% AIQ AYUSH COUNSELLING??? WHAT IS THE MINIMUM MARKS (AIR) REQUIRED TO GET BAMS IN ODISHA GOVT COLLEGE UNDER 85% STATE QUOTA AS PER NEET 2019????

Swetha N 16th Oct, 2020

Hello dear,

As you did not mentioned which category you belong to, it is difficult to predict.

But definitely you need to have above 450 marks to secure a AYUSH seat through AIQ (considering you as general category student).

Even for state quota, you can consider 450 as a safe score to get into good govt. BAMS college.

But you asked for minimum marks(cut off) and that is difficult to predict as it keep changing every year based on various factors.

If you belong to gen category and want a seat in govt. BAMS college then your minimum required marks will be above 420.If you have reservations then 380 above works fine.

You can try in private BAMS colleges which also require marks above 350 .

If you can afford you can go for admission in Central/National universities or management quota in private colleges. These seats you can get even if you do not hold good marks.

Hope you found this helpful.

All the best!
