what is the marks of OBC category for 85% quota in Delhi VMMC new Delhi in NEET 2020?

Anurag Khanna 6th Jun, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through previous year's(2019) cut-off then it shows that in 2019 the closing rank was 357 for VMMC AND SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL, NEW DELHI under state quota for OBC category and we saw an increase of around 25-30 marks in institutional cut-offs in 2020. So if you are targeting for NEET 2021 then your aim should not be less than 300 OBC rank for which marks should be 550+ out of 720 in NEET 2021.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-du

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

What is All India quota cutoff of NEET 2020 in GMERS Himmatnagar medical College ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2021

Hi

Actually, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar is a private medical college and you cannot get into any private medical college through all India quota as they participate in only state counselling and do not provide admission  through all India counselling.

You can check that it is a private medical college at our page for which link is given below

https://www.careers360.com/colleges/gmers-medical-college-and-hospital-himmatnagar

But yes,

If I tell you about state quota then in NEET 2019, cut off marks under state quota for Government quota seat in GMERS Medical College, Himmatnagar was 477 marks corresponding to all India rank of 63682.

You can check the same by visiting our page the link for which is provided below

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-gujarat

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Apr, 2021

Hi

To be honest there is no one single book for Neet examination preparation in order to score well

This is because,

Neet examination itself has three subjects namely physics chemistry and Biology so you need to follow NCERT for each of these three subjects and followed by a few references book for practicing MCQs.

The  best  books which you can go for neet examination   are listed  below  Subjectwise :-

PHYSICS :-

  • NCERT Physics textbooks for Class XI and XII

  • Mtg NCERT at your fingertips for physics

  • Objective Physics for neet By DC Pandey :- it has MCQs and numericals as per Neet examination pattern and level

CHEMISTRY :-

  • *NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII :- Ncert chemistry is really good for Neet, go through all the solved examples, intext questions and exercise questions

  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon :- Best for practising and mastering numericals in physical chemistry

  • MS Chauhan (Organic) :- It is a great book to clear all your concepts regarding reactions in organic, their mechanism etc

BIOLOGY

  • NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII "- Master it as around 95 % questions in neet biology are based on ncert .

  • NCERT at your fingertips by mtg :- best for practicing MCQs for your neet

  • Trueman biology :- good for understanding topics which are difficult to understand from NCERT

Also go through Neet Previous year chapter wise book by Arihant for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and once you are done with the complete syllabus go through mock test paper.
