NEET 2020
Neha, you haven;t mentioned your Category, score and so we cannot predict your options. But if you look at the Statistics, 15.97 lakh students registered for NEET and 90% appeared for the exam. Which means for every 1 MBBS seat there are 11 Candidates contesting. This ratio is even bigger for BDS. And the cut offs will increase and will not decrease. When the demand is high and the supply is less, the cost increases. Here the cost is the cut off. In 2019, in UP, 469 was the cut off for GMC while it increased by 150 marks and moved to 577 in 2019. This is about General Category and the cut offs increased inspite of the increase in the no.of Colleges at Basti, Ayodhya, etc. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Shem, all this while 65% of the seats in ESIC Medical Colleges were filled through State Quota, 20% was fileld through IP Quota by wards of Insured of ESI and 15% of the seats were filled by the DGHS on behalf of the MCC. Now this 20% is being scrapped in favour of clubbing them with All India Counselling. So now you do not have any IP Quota. There are 900 seats available in ESIC Colleges across India. And 541 marks is a good score for OBC Category to be filled under State Quota of ESIC Colleges. You haven't mentioned the State that you hold the domicile of and so we cannot exactly tell your chances. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Hello aspirant
It's difficult to exactly predict the college as the admission depends on various factors like no. of seats available, rank in merit list etc. that changes every year. However based on your NEET score and considering your category, you have very less chance to get admission in 85% state level quota. You won't be getting admission in AIQ 15% quota too.
However you can go for private colleges and deemed universities. To apply for deemed universities, the candidates should register in MCC website. If you want to go for private colleges, then register in their official website.
To know about the admission in Deemed universities and private colleges, you can use our NEET UG college predictor :
