NEET 2020
Hello Affan,
The NEET cutoffs vary every year with difficulty level of the exam, number of students writing it, number of seats available etc. Cutoffs change with every state too. According to the previous year cutoff trend in Tamil Nadu , for you category 425 may not get you government seat for MBBS . The previous year cutoffs for your category was around 450+ for government colleges and the cutoffs are bound to increase by 30 to 40 marks due to the increasing in competition. Hence you may need 480+ for the same. But you may get good private colleges.
As far as BDS is concern , it is the same , but there might be very little chances depending on your luck and how other factors may turn out during counselling . But getting to top government colleges is difficult . Again private may be the option . Remember it an assumption based on previous cutoff trends .

Physical chemistry was easy. In other subjects, there was a general paper like the previous year’s, but some questions were different this time. At the same time, the NCERT syllabus was completely followed. The difficulty level was low.
Physics paper was average. Out of the 45 questions, 17 questions were based on 11th class and 28 questions on 12th class syllabus.Chemistry was easy and biology was lengthy.
O verall it was a easy paper with proper command on concepts and practising various mcq one can easily crack this exam
Hope this helps.All the best.
Hello student ,
If we consider previous year cut off then you have chances to get these colleges but as you know cut off changes every year due to various reasons so here i am providing you a link which will give you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling .
You have mentioned your predicted score 454, so assuming you from UR category I will be discussing your chances.
Now, you have not mentioned the college name by referreing with "this college in Mumbai" So, I would give the possibilities based on all the Mumbai colleges MBBS or BDS.
As you want to take admission in Mumbai, so hopefully you have state domicile and even if you are from another state you will go through the All India counselling for 15% seats in Mumbai college.
Now, in Maharasthra state 454 score for UR candidate is not sufficient for gov. MBBS college but you can try for BDS college, and also for private MBBS colleges. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-maharashtra follow this link for state cutoffs from previous years.

As you not mentioned domicile state that's why it would be tough to predict you anything but if we consider previous year cut off then you have less chance to get govt. college but as you know cut off changes every year due to various reasons so here i am providing you a link which will give you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling .
Hello Devi,
Cutoffs are decided by the number of seats available, number of students applying for the seats , difficulty level of the paper, previous year cutoff trends, the state you belong to etc.For general category students the to get government seat, the score should be minimum 450+. In your case since you are an SC candidate , it should be lesser than this . Your predicted percentile would be around 85.16 - 85.66 and the rank would be 205727 - 245877 . Hence, based on the previous cutoff trends , 300 to 340+ can be considered as a safe score. It may slightly vary depending on the factors mentioned above but do not worry , you seem to have a decent chance for govt. seat. Also when it comes to private colleges, 100-200+ is enough for good private BHMS seats.
