i score 250 in neet 2020 ,give a direction , i want to be an doctor

Swetha N 12th Oct, 2020
Hello dear,

As per last year , 250 marks will give you all india rank of around 3.4 lakhs.

With this rank it is difficult to get a free seat in MBBS /BDS.

But you can try for management quota seats if you can afford.

Otherwise also do not worry. If you are really passionate about medicine and if you believe you can stay determined and work hard until you succeed, then take a drop and prepare well for NEET 2021.

All the best for your future.

I am getting 503marks in neet 2020 . I belongs to sc bihar . can i get any college??also please tells about AIR.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 503 marks   you hold  a  chance to get a seat in  GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE

For example,
in neet  2019, 450 marks for sc category got a seat in  Nalanda Medical College, Patna which is a very good Government Medical College  under Bihar State quota

You also have chances in
* Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur
* Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri
*Patna Medical College, Patna

And more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

i got 400 marks in neet 2020.telangana state & st category.can i get a govt mbbs seat?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Oct, 2020
Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 440 marks   you hold  a little low chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
in neet 2019, 453 marks for st category was the lowest marks to get a seat in a government medical college  under Telangana state quota and it was for GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA

With your marks you have  chances for government quota seats in private medical college and deemed universities

akashkumarpati.2000 12th Oct, 2020

Hey,

Since Commissionerate of Common Entrance Test (CET), Mahara shtra hasn't released official cut-off details of NEET UG 2020 for top and esteemed MBBS colleges of Maharashtra, so we have to follow the previous year's (2019) cut-off trend to make any decision regarding the admission possibilities.

Now I'm giving you the list of top Government and Private MBBS colleges in Maharashtra with their last year's minimum qualifying marks and rank for OBC category students:

Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune: 560 / rank: 19848

Rajiv Gandhi Medical College and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Thane: 546 / rank: 25716

Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College and King Edward Memorial Medical College, Mumbai: 596 / rank: 8624

Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College and Hospital, Chakkarbardi: 525 / rank: 35372

Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Latur: 505 / rank: 46399

Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Medical College, Amravati: 499 / rank: 49641

So it's definitely understable for you that despite being OBC category student you don't have any kind of possibility to get admitted in any Government or Private MBBS colleges with this marks in NEET UG 2020.

For any further details regarding any of those colleges, please go through the following website for detailed-oriented description regarding your query:

However your rank is perfectly suitable for several private BDS colleges in Maharashtra, if you wish you can go for these.
