If Someone Cleared 12th State Board in 2020 but not got expected mark in boards still attempted NEET 2020 by using state board details. Suppose he did his 11 and 12 again from CBSE board in 2022 and got expected mark and clear NEET 2022.Now how many gap certificate he will have at time of admission?

Aakanksha 2nd Sep, 2022

Hi aspirant

A gap year, also called a sabbatical year, is a semester or a full year break that is taken by a student after completing class 12 before joining an undergraduate degree.

A gap year does not affect your eligibility in NEET. However you do have to submit a certificate signes by a gazetted officer to show what have you done during your gap period.

In your case you have a gap of 2 years and hence you'll have to get a gap certificate of 2 years.

You can get the GAP Affidavit made on a non judicial stamp paper stating the reason why you took a gap year. This stamp paper can be bought from courts, sub-registrar offices and notaries.

Hope this helps you.

All the best :)

i m from Himachal and expecting 450 marks in neet 2020 under general category ..can i get any government seat this year

Aakanksha 26th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
Sorry. At this score, being a general category candidate it is impossibility for you to fetch a seat in a government medical college of your state.
At a score of 450 you can expect your rank to be  somewhere around 1.48-1.52 lakhs as it was in NEET 2021. However this may change this year as it depends on various factors like the highest score, the total number of candidates and the cut off this year.
Now, you can also predict your rank for NEET examination using our rank predictor with the following link.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

You can also predict your college using our college predictor tool with the link provided here.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Now here is the closing rank for all the government colleges of Himachal Pradesh for UR Candidates for MBBS state quota seats.

INDIRA GANDHI MEDICAL COLL., SHIMLA 6402
SLBS Govt. Medical college, Mandi 8193
Government Medical College Hamirpur 13810
Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Govt. Med. College, Chamba 12481
Dr. YS Parmar Govt. Medical College, Nahan 11431

As you can see it'll be quite difficult for you to fetch a government MBBS seat in Himachal Pradesh.
You can opt for private medical colleges if your finances allow.

Hope this helps
All the best :)

iam bce (muslim minority) student.i got 109099 rank in tseamcet 2022.can i get cse or ece branch in any top 50 college

Vishwathiga J 17th Aug, 2022

Dear Aspirant,

It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students willing to take admission in the colleges, the seat matrix and the preferences of the students.

Based on previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting into the following colleges.

CSE

1. Sree Dattha Group of Institutions Integrated Campus, Ibrahimpatnam

2. Malla Reddy College of Engineering, Dhulapally (small chance)

3.Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus, Ibrahimpatnam ( BTech in AI and Data Science)

ECE

1. Global Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ranga Reddy

2. Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad (BTech in EEE)

CSE and ECE are two of the most preferred branches and hence it is highly competitive because of which you don't seem to have a lot of options.

For more accurate predictions please check the college predictor linked below.

Hope this helps.

I passed my 12(2020) from state board but not got expected marks but given NEET 2020 by using that marksheet but not clear that so I was in my drop and give 12th from cbse this year 2022 and got expected marks. Now which marksheet is considered as my final one?Can I use cbse marks to fill NEET 2023?

sehbakhan475 31st Jul, 2022

Hello student,

Both of your marksheet are valid and you can use any one of them according to your own will. There is no issue in using any one of them.

Many student do this when they are not satisfied with their boards marks either they go for improvement or they give their 12 boards again with different board and it is ok anyone can do this.

Hope this helped. All the best.
