neet 2020,ug,gen category, air 21216,up state rank 2489 any chance to get govt mbbs seats from state quota

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with all india rank of 21216 you hold a low chance to get a seat in Government Medical College.

For example,
in neet 2019, all india rank of 14621 for general category was the cut off rank to get a seat in government medical college under UP state quota and it was for Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich

But yes,
With your rank you have very  good chances for govt quota  seats   in private medical under UP state quota which are listed :-

*Sri Rammurti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly

*Era's Lucknow Medical College, Lucknow:-

*F.H. Medical College, Agra

And more

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

i have got 147 marks in neet 2020 UR category can i get admission in maharaja aagresan college agroha

daniasufian2000 1st Dec, 2020
Hello candidate!
I'm very sorry to mention that with the above mentioned marks you have only cross a score of qualification and with this marks there are no chances of getting a seat in the medical college.
Since the cut off also very high this year you need to cross atleast a score of 450+ to secure a seat and for a good medical college the more marks will be at safer site.
So I'm sorry that with the mention marks there are no chances of getting a seat.

Better luck next time
Regards!

NEET 2020 cutoff of Maharashtra

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020
Hi

I am guessing that you belong to general category as you haven't mentioned your category

In neet 2019 , 539 marks for general category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks that got a government medical college under Maharashtra State quota and it was Government Medical College, Gondia

But cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

Also,
this year neet qualifying cut off marks has increased a lot so cut off marks for a seat in medical college is also expected to increase

So , you should have at least around 575 marks or more to be on the safer side in your neet 2020 examination

to get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor

Hello Aspirant,

On such marks and category you have good chances of getting some good medical colleges in Telangana under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges in following preference :-

  • DECCAN COLLEGE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA
  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SURYAPET
  • C ANANDA RAO INST. OF MED. SCI., KARIMNAGAR.
  • BHASKAR MEDICAL COLLEGE, MOINABAD, R.R.(DST)

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

I have got 198 in neet 2020 and i belong to ews quota...any chances of mbbs in govt colg in mop up round

Sharon Rose Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020

Hello,

The cut off for NEET 2020 for general category is 147-720 marks. The score you have scored is just above the cut off marks with such score it is difficult to get seat in any course be it in AIQ Mop Up round or State counselling. You should score minimum 600-620 marks to have decent chances of getting seat in a college based on NEET score. You might have to prepare or NEET 2021 if your ambition is to become a doctor.

We have NEET knockout so if you want to prepare for NEET 2021 you can use it https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/

in neet 2020 i get 451 marks which bams college can i get in Maharashtra if i belong to obc

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021

Hello Dear,

There are three type of BAMS colleges are there in Maharashtra. There cutoff may be this year. As you the cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors.

1) Government BAMS colleges - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC. Fees is lowest in range of 20000

2) Semi - Government BAMS colleges - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

3) Private BAMS colleges - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.

Sumna Sree 1st Dec, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well

It would be better if you had mentioned about your category.

As per general category it is difficult to get mbbs seat .

If you belong to reserved category then you may have slight chances to get seat.

Also try to put some back up option as cutoffs tend to change every year based on various factors.

Hope this helps you

All the best!

with 270 marks in neet 2020 can i get BAMS in AQG or in AQA????

rajeevanand843 1st Dec, 2020

Dear aspirant

You have specified your category although 270 is very low score to get govt or govt aided college in all india ayush counseling of BAMS. You have almost very poor chances that you will get govt college. You might get Private/deemed BAMS colleges as per your marks.

last year cut off for government ayurvedic medical college for different categories in all india ayush counseling was

•GEN - AIR 45146 (507 MARKS)

•OBC- AIR 45352 (506 MARKS)

•SC- AIR 141279 (388 MARKS)

•ST- AIR 155410 (375 MARKS)

State quota counseling cut off varies different for different state government ayurvedic medical college.

Hope this information helps you

All the best!!

I achieved 426 marks in neet 2020 , and Andhra Pradesh state rank was 7000 . Can i get free mbbs seat . I belong to oc - ews category ??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020

Your All India Rank is 156109. With this rank, it is highly difficult for a seat in a Government Medical College. It is also difficult for a seat in Government Quota of Private Medical Colleges. For a seat in a Government Medical College you have to score atleat 575 and above and for a seat under Government Quota of a Private Medical College, you will need more than 500.This year, with the highest NEET score being 720,the cut offs increased way higher. With this score, you might get a seat under Management Quota of Private Medical Colleges. Now you have 3 options.

  1. Appear for State Counselling and check your options for Management Quota. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
