Hello Aspirant,
As you have not mentioned your Home State so considering it as Karnataka according to your profile.
See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
But although according to the marks and category you have mentioned in the question you have chances of getting into some Private BDS seats according to previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

Last year the lowest cut-off marks was 198 for Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Dental College & Hospital, Chitradurga under Home State quota for General category.
To have a list of those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

With a score of 480, your rank might be approximately between 58214-65316 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at, with a score of 480, you might have a chance in Management Quota of Private Medical Colleges because for GMCs you will need more than 500. This is regarding Punjab. For GMCs of other States, you will need to participate in All India Counselling and for that you need more than 550. With a score of 480, you can try under Management Quota of Deemed Universities. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
