Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 9th Aug, 2020
Hello.
As per the information available by the officials approx 72200 people are going to to take the test COMEDK, it is according to the number of registration but depending upon the condition final students who will attend the test will decrease or may be neutral as per the informations or predictions the exam is  still going  to conduct depending upon the condition of the crisis there are rare chances that it will be cancelled since many of the exams has already been conducted so these top level exam will be conducted with the vision taken by the higher authorities if it will cancel then the consequences will go with the zero session, and definitely if these exams will be conducted so other exams like JEE mains and neet will also be conducted.
Best of luck.

Ayush Pandey 18th Sep, 2020

Hello,

With the increase in competition, their is good chance this year that cutoff may increase, but I do not feel that it will rise by 50 marks(as it is already quite high) , we could consider it to increase by 10-15 marks.

I am a boy from Telangana state with an expected NEET 2020 marks as 593.My caste group is BCB. Will I get a seat in AIIMS, BB nagar.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020

With a score of 593, your rank might be approximately between 7784-10036. This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . AIIMS will conduct admission to all its 1500 seats through All India Counselling and so ideally State Quota doesn't work. And we cannot predict the score required for AIIMS as this is the first time that AIIMS is conducting admission to its MBBS courses through NEET score. But with a score of 593, you do have decent chances for a seat if not in AIIMS Bibi Nagar but any other branch.  For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Im getting 580 in neet 2020 what are the chances of getting goverment medical college in Telangana? I belong to caste OC?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020
Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 580 marks you hold very good chance to get a seat in  government medical college

For example,
In neet 2019,  540 marks for general category  got a seat in GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SIDDIPET  under Telangana state quota

Sir I am scoring 548in neet 2020 I am from general category I am from uttar pradesh. is there any chance to get government medical college for mbbs under state or all India quota can I get any college outside my state where cutoff is below my marks

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 18th Sep, 2020
Hi ,as per the marks you have mentioned last year least marks to secure a seat in government medical college under 85% state quota from your category was 575 marks in autonomous medical college bahraich. So according to that your chances are too low for you to get a seat in government medical college . Chances are low at all india level too as cutoff generally goes higher than state quota. You can apply for dental colleges to be on safer side.
Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
