dear sir/maam I have scored 275 marks in neet 2020 and Im from Hyderabad Karnataka region with OBC 2A can I get a seat in BHMS college in Karnataka

Anurag Khanna 20th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the marks and category mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 282209-301278, you can check out marks Vs ranks from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

So on such marks and category you have some chances of getting some medical colleges for BHMS in Karnataka under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

Dr.N.A. Magadum Ayuvrvedic Medical College and Hospital, Belgaum

Sharada Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Yadgiri

Govt. Homoeopathy Medical College, Bangalore

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

Aarti singh 10th Nov, 2020

Hello udita

I'm sorry about the information provided earlier that was not complete information..

This time, their is no esic quota.. But recently

A new update has come from the authorities , that 'seats filled up in previous years under IP Quota in ESIC Medical/Dental Colleges would be filled up by DGHS, GoI, as All India Quota Seats'. Thus,

So, this time making it very clear that from  the current academic session there will not be any reservation of the medical quota seats for children of ESI workers in ESI Hospitals..

Hope this information will help you to solve your query..

can I get free seat in BHMS,I got 312 in neet 2020 ,I belong to OBC?

Pragya sarwaiya 10th Nov, 2020

Hi

Since you have mentioned in your profile that you belong to Telangana.

With 312 marks in OBC category, you have decent chance to get a seat in BHMS course

Moreover, there is slightly less chance in government BHMS college than private BHMS college

Best of luck

I am from Kerala... with 603 in neet 2020...i am unable to apply to assam state counselling.. it says to fill assam state rank.. and also I am unable to apply to Maharashtra where it says that I am from a different domicile??

Sriya Chandavarapu 9th Nov, 2020

Dear candidate,

The general rule of MBBS & BDS Admission is that 15% of total Intake government colleges (MBBS & BDS) seats ,100% All India Deemed Medical & Dental Colleges seats & 50% Central university colleges seats are filled from All India Counselling. These seats are available for all candidates who have qualified NEET. Any state candidates can take admission to anywhere in India through All India Quota.

85% of Government Medical & dental (MBBS & BDS) & 100% of private Medical & Dental colleges seats are filled through respective state & those seats are available to respective state candidates who are staying or studying in particular that state.

General Eligibility Criteria to participate in any State Quota Counselling:

1. If you have Domicile of that particular State.

2. If you have Completed 10th or 12th Board from any School of that particular State.

You need to fulfill either of the above Condition to participate in State Quota Counselling of any State for Government Medical Colleges Seats. But for Private Medical Colleges Seats every State have their own Eligibility Criteria.

There are few states that are open for admission for non-domicile candidates, like Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, etc.
