Do I need to apply in different state counsellings for the private medical colleges of other states instead of mine i.e Bihar? If yes, do i need register beforehand by paying the required fees for the rounds-1&2 or can i take part directly in Mop-up round.

DrTeeth 1st Nov, 2020

You need to apply in different state counsellings for management seats in private medical colleges of different states. Keep in mind you are not eligible for government seats in states other than your domicile state (Bihar in your case).

You can apply for round 1 or directly the mop up round, it is up to you. But it is also possible that the mop up round might not be conducted. Better to be safe and apply right from round 1.

  1. Register for Counselling by paying refundable and non refundable fees
  2. During Choice Locking, select Colleges that you want a seat in

Anurag Khanna 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

In NEET Counselling conducted by DGHS on the behalf of NCC for 15% AIQ seats, your All India Rank will be considered. Your category rank will have no role in seat allotment through AIQ but yes if you will appear for some state counselling then your category rank might be considered by the state counselling authority.

As now results have been declared so to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

Sir in my adhaar card my father name is Mohd Haider & my domicile, income & EWS certificate is made with that name but in my result name it is Mohd Haider Khan , will there be any problem in neet counselling? should I change my father name according to marksheets in different certificate ?

aawezk11 26th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Generally for the document verification of your name, your father's name, date of birth, etc. your class 10th result is considered. So if you have used that name during the time of filling of NEET application then it might not be that much of a big problem for you.

However to be on the safe side it is recommended for you to contact the respective exam authority through email regarding the issue and ask them for a probable solution.

To know about which colleges you can get admission in based on your rank you can use the college predictor tool
