NEET Counselling

Counseling in NEET refers to admission into the government college., Private college and deemed university. The counselling happens has AlL india Ranking if want home state quota.
For NEET counseling you need to get registered for it after the NEET results are out.
1. Register for the counseling after paying the fee.
2. Then you have the choice to select the college that you want.
3. You will be notified if you are selected dor the college in the round 1 . If you are interested you can join the college or else you can go to round 2 counseling.
You need to submit some of your forms during counselling such as NEET admit card., NEET rank card., Valid ID proof., Caste certificate., Photos., Study certificates etc.,

If the student belongs to unreserved category then their ALL INDIA RANK will be considered. But if the student belongs to reserved category then the CATEGORY RANK(OBC, SC, ST) will be considered.
And if you are eligible for home state quota then your homestate rank will be considered.

Yes, you can apply for the second round of NEET 2020 counselling. As you have already paid a certain amount so what you need to do is just apply with the same credentials for round 2 with your new preferences. As you didn't get any college in round 1 so the option of moving to the next round is easier than the others who got a college but couldn't confirm because they wanted to continue for later rounds.

If you are a dropper,then you definitely need a gap certificate whether during NEET councelling or during the time of admission. So be ready with gap certificate so that you don't find trouble at the time of admission.

There is no separate reservation for Ex-Servicemen or Defence Quota under All India Counselling. The State Counselling has separate reservation for Ex-Servicemen. It is usually 1-5% depending on the State. And there is no separate cut offs. You have to select this option during State Counselling and you will be allotted a seat based on merit and preference. HI , yes the admit card is required. The admit card for NEET can be retraced by logging in to the NEET page with your registered email ID and your date of birth and it will redirect you to your application form where you can find your admit card and re-download the same. You can then print it out and paste your photo and get it signed .
While reporting to the allotted college, candidates must submit the original copy of the required documents which can be are listed below-
NEET 2020 Admit Card
NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter
Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)
Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
Eight passport size photographs
Provisional Allotment Letter
Caste Certificate (if applicable)

As per the guidelines NEET counselling 2020 will be start only after the declaration of the result . So it is expected that NEET 2020 counselling will start for the last week of October. The competent authority for the counselling process will release the schedule after the announcement of NEET result .
