I am sorry to say that now you can not change your category during the counselling time. Once during the registration you have given Unreserved category then you will have to go with that only for the NEET counselling process.

For corrections, time were given, and you could have made the change then but now that is not possible until NEET announces any such official notice.

In this case, i will suggest you to participate in counselling process mentioning your category as "Unreserved/Open".

The only criteria to be eligible for any kind of reservation is that you need to fill it in the reservation column at the time of form filling of NEET. As you have not filled any kind of reservation in the NEET form you will be strictly considered under General Category.

Claiming your reservation at the time of counseling won't be accepted.

Here are the steps you need to follow to register to state NEET counselling of Andra Pradesh.

1. The application form for NEET counselling will be released on official portal of NTRUHS. There you will find the link for online registration for NEET counselling.
2. Enter the details asked. The details include your name, DOB, NEET score, NEET roll number etc. Once you submit it, you will get a registration number that you need to use for any furthur reference.
3. Once this is done, you must login through your registration number mentioned above and your roll number of NEET. Complete the application form by filling all the revelant details and documents.
4. Fina step is to pay the counselling fee. Once the payment is successful, your registration is fully complete. You will receive any kind of notification to your registered mail and mobile number.

Omce you complete the registration process it will redirect to the final page which is confirmation page after that registratiom slip will be generated. So yes you can say upto some extenr both are same. But confirmation page is webpage and registration slip is generated document.

If you have done basic registration, then use the Applicant Login Zone and enter registration ID and password to proceed.

For creating a new basic registration for any of the Post Graduate (PG) courses (MD/MS/MCh(6YRS)/DM(6YRS)/MDS) use the New Basic Registration zone

But the Registration has been closed.
