Talking about the admission into government medical colleges the cuff is quite high and the candidate needs to score high percentage of marks owing to the high competition. Out of 720 marks a candidate should score 590 plus score to secure the seat in the Government Medical College and the closing rank for is around 6000 to 7000, changing slightly each year as per the increase in seats and the number of applicants.

Hey!
yes you can do that. you can either surrender your 1st round seat and appear in 2nd round in the same fees you paid.
or resign your counselling and pay a new fee for 2nd round and appear again. so you have 2 option through which you can attend 2nd round.
but before surrendering make sure you really dont need that college. because you cant get it back. it is free exiting.

Thank you.
Dear aspirant
As you haven't been allotted any colleges in round first of AIQ counseling so if you don't want to participate in round 2 and want free exit then simply don't do choice filling and locking process in round 2. You should leave your choice filling options blank in round2 and in further round so like this you will be automatically exit from the AIQ. You don't have to do any procedure just simply not participate in further round. You will get your security deposit back in your account once when MCC start returning back the security deposit to non allotted candidates.
You can use our college predictor tool to predict the best college for you: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope I may have resolved your query
Best regards!
The provisional merit list is published to check the errors, so that the candidates can correct it before the final merit list is published. Some students will get added in the final merit list that is published. These candidates are not in the Provisional merit list, due to errors or insufficient information. They get a second chance to appear in the final merit list after correcting the information.
Hope this helps.
Dear Aspirant,
You have scored a bit poorly to have any chance of MBBS or BDS of a government college. The government Medical Colleges provide admission to the best rank holders in the exam. While 85% of the seats are these for HOME STATE students, the other 15% is reserved for ALL INDIA QUOTA students.
The basic problem in the government Medical Institutes is that they have a very few number of MBBS and BDS seats. The number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants.
Although, you have reservation in the form of OBC, still you need a good quota rank to back your contention. Your Category rank is also poor in nature as it is above 74000.
You may have some chances of getting BDS in a state government colleges which are low ranked.
