i got 49 in physics, but overall pcb 60% above, am I eligible for mbbs in nepal

Karishma Sawhney 23rd May, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you are eligible for pursuing an MBBS course in Nepal, as a candidate should score 50% or more as PCB aggregate. However, you need to qualify the NEET UG exam too, according to your category.

However, admission for the academic year 2021 has closed. The last date for registration was 18th February 2022. To pursue MBBS in 2022, you must clear the Nepal common entrance exam called MECEE BL, that is, if you have a gap year.

Hope it helps!

Rituparna Priyadarshini 26th Dec, 2021

Hello.

You can fill up the firm by putting down the category you belong to. There are some exams where specific importance is also given to certain domicile. So in that case you can put down the name of your domicile. There the category would have more significance.

I am Indian citizen of bihar but i have completed my 10+2 from nepal board so am i eligible for jee or not?

Anurag Khanna 15th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If you are Indian national but passed your 10+2 from Nepal then also you would be eligible for JEE-Main 2022 and your state of eligibility would be considered as the India address mentioned on your passport so if it is mentioned as Bihar on your passport then your state code of eligibility would be Bihar. Also note that there are some other criterion that you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
