A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clause (ii) & (iii) of General Note in the last section of this document).
At the last the academic score as specified in the screening guidelines for the Colleges of the University shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview.

As you did M.Sc. in Geography you will have to apply for ugc net geography. Earth science is a different subject. Those who are pursuing M.Sc. in Geology or Earth science can apply for csir net earth science.

A major part of B.Sc syllabus is there in your net syllabus. In India most of the colleges now have semester system and all universities have almost same syllabus and the course pressure would be more or less same in every university. In B.Sc you wont be eligible for giving net exam. After you study in M.Sc. you will be eligible for net exam. So I would suggest you to first prepare for JAM and other M.Sc entrance exams first. And after getting into M.Sc. take preparation for NET. Study from books. Make a habit of studying from books. It will help you in future.

As you have qualified the csir jrf exam in EWS category So you are only eligible for EWS seats. As EWS candidates are less so it will be easier to get seat in EWS category than general category. So apply PhD in EWS category.

The eligibility criteria for the UGC NET examination states, the aspirant need to pass Post graduate course in any stream with 55% marks. For a JRF aspirant, the aspirant must have a age less than 30 years, in order to be eligible for the Junior Research Fellowship.
As you have near about 80% in your PG, then obviously you are eligible for the Environmental Science paper of UGC NET examination.

Yes, you can teach at any University if you have a PhD degree and also cleared NET.
In addition to the above qualifications, you must also have publications in peer reviewed, UGC-Care journal and SCOPUS journals. Seminar and Conference certificates are also required. Candidates with more publications and good API are preferred in all institutions.
