If a person have cleared NET examination but if he/she is not able to find any vacancy for the post of lecturer. Then what he/she should do?

pdwords Student Expert 12th Jun, 2021
Hello,

You should keep yourself updated regarding Faculty recruitment by subscribing to various job sites such as Jagran Josh, or even signing up for LinkedIn is a good option regarding this, another thing you can do for the time being is you can apply for faculty post in various edtech companies so that you can use your time judiciously, this will also enhance your teaching experience, and at the same time keep applying for vacancies in colleges, since the situation right now doesn't allow offline teaching, but once it improves you can keep your options open in terms of applying for colleges outside your state and since you're NET qualified, the certificate is acceptable all over ndia.

I have completed my M.tech in Computer Science. But I am more interested in Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Am I eligible to take UGC NET or CSIR NET exam related to Physics or Mathematics subjects?

Megha Bele 15th Jun, 2021

Hi aspirant,

For UGC NET exam, a candidate must secure at least 55% marks in master degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognized universities/colleges in Humanities including languages and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. The 55 % marks should be without rounding off.

For CSIR UGC NET exam,  candidates must possess M.Sc. or equivalent degree or Integrated BS-MS or BS-4 years or BE, B Tech , B. Pharma or MBBS with at least 55% marks to be eligible to apply for the exam.

So you can definitely apply for these exams

Hope that helps.
