Now this totally depends upon you. You can take risk or settle and can greater perspectives. Now coming back to the preparation, coaching is not really required for understanding the concepts, but it will be beneficial to inculcate regularity. Regularity is a must! You should read books by foreign authors for concept building. Watch video lectures aswell. You must solve tonnes of questions. Practice time bound tests.

Yes, you can go for Msc from private college and not regular college. Even if you do not pursue your MSC from a regular college you will not face any problem in appearing for UGC NET exam. NET exam takes into consideration all private, distance learning colleges along with regular college. If you want to prepare for any other course or go for a job then you can ofcourse go for masters from private institute.

Your question isn't clear what do you mean by preparing for UGC, kindly elaborate the same by writing down in the comment box, since you have already completed master's degree, if you have required aggregate of 55% from a recognized university then you're eligible to appear for UGC NET, in case of reserved category there is relaxation of 5%.

You can change this during the UGC NET Correction Period for 2021 exams. The dates for corrections were 12th March to 16th March. However, in any case, if you missed the deadline and forgot to update the income, there shouldn't be much issue.
In general there shall not be any problem with the income status except if you have applied for EWS Quota because it depends on someone’s income and misfiguring data can lead to cancellation of seat through that reservation. Since, you are from SC category, it shouldn't bother you.
