If you have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. Then you are eligible for this Test.

The best subject to choose for UGC NET examination is the subject in which you have done your graduation and post-graduation because Paper 2 of the examination is totally a subject-oriented paper which you have chosen while filing up the application form of UGC NET.

So you are eligible to give the net exam.
