UGC NET is a national level entrance test which will be organized by NTA. UGC NET 2021 will be held in the month of June 2021 in 3rs or 4th week and in December 2021 through online CBT mode.
The application process for June session exam starts in the month of March 2021 and in the month of September 2021 for December session exam.
UGC NET 2021 Notification will be released on February 2021.
Availability of Online Application - 3 rd week of March 2021
Last date to apply online - 3 rd week of April 2021
Availability of Admit card - 3 rd week of May 2021

Hello, The CSIR NET is offered in five subjects only of which deals with chemistry so all kind of chemistry major students will be choosing the chemical sciences subjects only.There will be both inorganic and physical chemistry as a part of syllabus even though you are aiming for organic chemistry alone. Christians can claim OBC and ST reservation. Only followers of Dharmic religion claim SC reservation.
So, I think you should opt for OBC category in NET UC.

The eligibility you should meet to get ews certificates is as follows:
You can get the EWS certificate from your local government authority (Tehsil). The certificate is called an 'Income and Assets Certificate', and this is the proof that is required to avail the EWS reservation. The designated authority will verify your documents and issue your EWS certificate.
however once you have applied for ugc exam and results has declared you can not change your category now, since score and rank is availed based on the persons category.

Hello, unfortunately after the correction window closes no change in category will be allowed. After the declaration of results the subsequent changes in the category (it usually happens for financially determined categories) wont be effective. You will considered in EWS category as such in this selection process.
