Which collage is better for cse isnt kl university guntur or new horizon college of engineering banglore

Rupam Nayak 2nd Jul, 2019
Hello Vijaykumar,

I am here to clear your query.

BE Computer Science and Engineering in New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore has lower fees. Both the colleges have 120 seats for CSE and both are AICTE Approved. But New Horizon College of Engineering is NAAC A accreditation. New Horizon College of Engineering is Autonomous college whereas KLU is a deemed university. New Horizon College of Engineering is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

I choosen automobile course in new horizon collage of engineering is this collage is good in placement is my chooce is correct .

Harshit_958 Student Expert 1st Jul, 2019

Hi aspirant,

If you take a look at the companies that come for recruitment, apart from 2 or 3 companies none of them are related to the automobile industry. Most of them are from IT industry. So, honestly speaking unless you do your masters you won't get decent placement. If you want to go in IT industry, then you'll get placed else you'll have a tough time in college.

Is New Horizon college of engineering good for mechanical engineering?

muskan.sunitaydv_9765333 Student Expert 1st Jul, 2019

Hello there,

In terms of education and labs the college is average. The college does not offer good placements either. The placement in core company is average and limited. The college offer good placements for IT and computer science students only. The placement is not that good for mechanical engineering students.

Hope this helps.

I am getting Mechanical at DSCE and ISE at NHCE Bangalore? Which is better to choose?

Kishan_283 Student Expert 29th Jun, 2019
Hello...

Both college's are equally good but dayananda sagar college of engineering have little bit upper hands on new horizon college of engineering.

Now it totally depends on you that in which branch you are interested because you have to read that branch for upcoming next four years.

If you are interested in mechanical engineering then go with dayananda sagar college of engineering without worrying about anything but if you are interested in codi ng stuff then go with new horizon college of engineering.

I got new horizon college of engineering in kcet mock allotment,I dont know about this clg, can anyone suggest about this clg,placement..

yash 28th Jun, 2019

I have a friend there..He told me CSE placement are far better than any other branch in New horizon..Where lower branches like Ece and eee struggle a lot to get in a decent company,Cse people get it without alot of hustling..

But you got nothing to worry about..There are good placements there. Many companies visit campus for the placements. Here, the placements drive is provided to the student until one year after their passout. Here, many cores, non-core, BPO companies come for the recruitment. Also, a good package is given to the selected candidates. Some of them also have a bond of 2 or 3 years.

And even if none of this helps.. I would suggest work on your coding skills being in the CSE branch and even if college doesn't offer a placement of your satisfaction you'll be skilled enough to sit for off campus interviews…

Hope this helps…Best of luck
