See, i have not studied there but have many friends studying there so i can tell. New Horizon has an edge over CMRIT (as a neutral). See, you can't expect the qualities of IIT's or Top NIT's or BIT's but you can get good faculties in New Horizon.

Talking about New horizon college of engg, good companies come to the college and academic wise it is really good. Faculties are co-operative and helpful and sports is also are good in this college and it is autonomous. Fees are expensive for those who come by management and average

The difference in first and second shift of Engineering colleges is about the college timings. In some colleges, the first shift timings is from 9 to 2. 30 pm and then second shift timing from 3 to 7.30 pm. But in other colleges the timing difference is minimal
