New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore
Hello aspirant, in my opinion Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology is better and here is the brief review of the college.
Placements : Dr AIT has a placement cell, and as far as I know, CS and EC branches have good placements. Mechanical and other one or two branches are negligible. TCS blindly recruits 50 to 60 students, like charity placements. The highest salary package offered in CS is 5 lacs per annum. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and software companies Intel have visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure : Dr AIT has a good infrastructure. The classrooms and hostels have good benches and nice flooring. There are smart classes and nice auditorium. Labs are well-equipped and have versatile instruments. The college provides Wi-Fi facility, but does not have good signal strength. There is also a well-furnished library with a lot of books.
Faculty : Teachers are helpful and qualified, but one or two teachers are not. Teaching is done on the blackboard, and the teaching quality is above average. The faculty to student ratio is good as there are many teachers. Exposure to the industry is quite low, and the autonomous curriculum is quite challenging.
Other : Events conducted in college are numerous. Sunsktuthi and Kalarava are the main events of the college. The campus is quite small. There is a single ground for the whole college, and the sports complex is like a shed in the corner. The mobile network is also low inside the campus.
hey!
i suggest to go for BMS institute of technology and management
Its good and comparable to many top colleges in India. It’s a new college founded 17 years before but still in top 100 in India and top 10 in Karnataka.Placement is also decent .College life is also good and many clubs are coming up. best part about this college is no attendance problem anything above percent is ok Professor’s are highly qualified and many are pursuing there Phd. It is in Yelahanka which is still developing and comparable to 1990’s of bengaluru .

Hello Jayanth
See, i have not studied there but have many friends studying there so i can tell. New Horizon has an edge over CMRIT (as a neutral). See, you can't expect the qualities of IIT's or Top NIT's or BIT's but you can get good faculties in New Horizon.
