What if i dont pay seat acceptance fee in josaa after freezing a seat...Will i get seat in next rounds??As I cant see any option to cancel the freezing. Or can i cancel it at reporting center??

ARYAN SAGAR 24th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

In josaa counseling, if you got alloted any seat in any round then you will have the option to freeze, slide or float.

Now if you freeze your seat, then there is no chance that you can unfreeze your seat. Now after freezing you have to upload documents

sir I got 73 percentile in jee mains September exam should I take a drop and prepare for the next year or I should take private collage..?

Dhruv 17th Oct, 2020
Hello, as you have not mentioned your category so I am assuming you to be in general category and at this rank you can't get any Nit, IIIT and other top colleges like Bit Mesra, Dtu, Nsit , Hbtu Kanpur Pec Chandigarh.

So, it would be good if you apply

i got 255 marks in neet exam 2020. what should i do next

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Oct, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, the General Qualifying cut offs for 2020 have been as follows:

General Category/EWS: 720-147

OBC: 146-113

SC: 146-113

ST: 146-113

General Category/EWS-PWD: 146-129

With a score of 255 it is difficult for a seat in any course that conducts admission based on NEET score.

if i availed aicte tfw scheme in a private college. shall i join another college next year ?

ANUVAB DAS 21st Oct, 2020

Of course you can. You just need to cancel the current admission. That's all. Make sure the concerned authority put a CANCELLED ADMISSION stamp on the back side of your class 12th marksheet if they put any ADMITTED stamp during admission.

Hope you have got the required information. Good luck.

Dear student,

If you have passed your class 12th first time in 2019, then for JEE advanced you have still no more attempt left.

If you are taking a drop them do make sure to score above 200 marks to get a college else wise there would be uncertainty of your admission in a good college with branch of your choice.

If we choose float option and if in next rounds we dont get higher preference seat then can we still have that seat which we got before choosing the float option.

ARYAN SAGAR 15th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

First let me clear you these three terms during the josaa counseling, that is - FREEZE, FLOAT and SLIDE

FREEZE -  It means that you have accepted the alloted seat and you are satisfied with it. And you do not want to participate in further rounds of josaa
